Stranded on a dessert island
Here is a descriptive writing of me stranded on a dessert island.
After a dangerous stormy day turned my boat upside down I climbed up and sat on it furiously! After a while I fell asleep. I woke up from the noise of the birds. The next thing I noticed I was shipwrecked on a magical desert island. I stood up and stared around the beautiful island and then I went to explore.I collected some sticks so I could try to make fire. It took me half an hour to start it and my stomach rumbled like thunder. I took the net out of my bag and I went to the beach to catch some fish in the beautiful sea. After 2 minutes I had heaps of fish. It was so easy to catch the fish! I went back to the fire started taking out my cooking stuff. I cooked my fish with some spices. It was delicious! It was nearly night time. I took my sleeping bag out and a big sheet. I set out to look for big sticks to make a tent. After 10 minutes I found some sticks. I went back to my fire to make my tent and went to sleep. The next thing I noticed I was in my comfy sleeping bag and the sun was shining in my eyes. As I look at the amazing sky, I could see that my life in the next few years was going to be magical.

Mum, where is my favourite purple dress? I’m going to be late for school. Oh no it’s in the wash! What about my orange one? Still wet! Oh no! What am I going to wear! No mum I can’t wear that it’s not cool.
Does this sound familiar to you? I know it happens for real every morning in many NZ households. If we all had to wear a school uniform this wouldn't happen. I think school uniforms are important. Hi my name is Hadia and today I am going to share some of my ideas with you about why school uniforms are important and should be compulsory.
Uniforms are expensive but you only have to buy them once a year. Buying the latest clothes cost much more. No matter who you are rich or poor, you will always look the same with the school uniform.
If you wear a school uniform your teacher will be proud when you go on school trips. You look elegant in uniforms. Wearing a uniform is a badge of pride and is an important part of being a school student because you will be noticeable with your school uniform. You will have an increased sense of school pride and increased self management. A school uniform creates an identify for the school in the community. It shows you are organised and wearing it says we’re all in this together.
School uniforms help to stop bullying because everyone is dressed the same and students cannot be teased for wearing something unusual or different.
There are many reason why everyone should wear school uniform,
School uniforms help to stop bullying because everyone is dressed the same.
If you had to wear school uniform you won’t be late for school you won’t have to decide what to wear.
Uniforms may create a better learning environment because students are not distracted by clothing.
You will have an increased sense of school pride and increased self management.
So now you know why school uniforms are important and compulsory If you go to a school which has a uniform you should wear it everyday and with pride.

Hi , I am a giraffe. I want to tell you a story about me and a lion. You know lions their always the king of the jungles. But I don’t care because I am tall as tree and as clever as an owl. Okay, now the story begins. One day I was eating grass. I heard a noise from the bushes . I look sharply but I couldn’t see anything. I start eating again than I heard it again. I was scared then I looked so sharply I saw lions tail. I also heard a lion’s voice. Arrrrrrgggg! Arrrrgggg! I couldn't hear so much because of ocean.
Then I realised that it was a lion so I quickly pretended that I am eating. The silly lion was on the stick. I knew he would come but when he came to catch me I bent down so he would fall on the ground and he did so. I laughed at him “ha ha haaa I knew you would come.”
“What! how do you know that I was coming.”
“Well I just knew.”
The end
